Ok, so it's officially Shrew rehearsal season. I sat down and touched my calf and yelled "OW". I revealed a 1 by 1 1/2 inch bruise on my calf...joy.
Today, we did the two high a bit too far back on the stage...how do I know? When I stood up, my head came even with (like was the back of my head on) the framework of the stage. I was holding on the stage for balance...from 11 feet up. How very weird.
I now climb a 6'4'' man, get flipped, get back flipped, get thrown over the back of a 6 ft man, and thrown all over the damn stage.
Oh, and never try to do acro when you are sweaty and your partner is sweatier and without sleeves. You can't make contact and acro becomes dangerous...it's bad. The back flippy thing was a no-go at that point.
My neck hurts, I went to the gym and worked arms and abs before this...what WAS I thinking.
Ow.
But sadly, I love this crap.
