update on the "kids"
Jan. 13th, 2006 04:13 pmTristan does not like kitty amoxycillin. It gives him bad runs and he throws up. This is what is officially known as NOT GOOD. This means another trip to the vet for JUST ME and new antibiotics...in pill form.
He managed to bring up the first one which I stuffed back down his throat and made him swallow, after he was stubborn and made it melt in his mouth. Mom is just a bit more tough and butch like and wouldn't say no. He is wheezing oddly, but I think it's the stress of everything. The rash, while still there, is MUCH better from what I can see.
Smudge, he forgave me and even enjoyed some outdoor sun time with me yesterday. He gets jealous of all the attention his brother is getting, but I think if he knew what his brother had to do to get it, he wouldn't want it.
I expect all to be normal again in a week...though that cariologist kitty thing is looming on my head...
Oh, and they love the predominantly wet food diet. Makes them think they are getting treats ALL the time...
