Wondering about all the hate on LJ

I saw the news and see things are iffy here as of late. I just hadn't had first hand experience and was surprised to see people jumping ship. Hopefully, you will all stay as I do love reading about you all.

Oh, I'm staying—but the question is, if and how long LJ will stay working. If it really is the Russian government behind the DDoS attacks, who knows what'll happen.

that was my concern. would we GET a warning if LJ went kaput?

if it suddenly just "up and dies" all ten years of entries are gone too, hence the crossposting/double posting backup plan with dreamwidth.

so i'll still be here and reading. i just maintain dual journalship and can still post when LJ is under attack.
