Its funny, there is someone i know at present. she's a performer and i've felt that i never knew anyone quite like her. But there was something familiar. The other day, i think i realized that she reminds me of you in some ways. When i first got to know her, i told her tha my impression of her was that of a shy quiet girl who needed/wanted the stage and the performance so bad that she worked very hard at being outgoing. that she's been working at it for so long that it's become second nature. As long as i've know you, i don't think i know you very well, does that fit you as well?

A little, but not completely. I was the youngest, I didn't want to be hidden behind my brother and sister. Dad was an actor, Mom sang, brother was an actor, sister was studying acting, so I was dragged to class with them. I learned by osmosis until I was old enough to jump in myself.

I started as being shy, but loving the attention that the spotlight provided. But I was never popular in school and found new friends and respect in the theater. It was a gift I was given, and I just wanted to keep it with me. Without the stage, I was ordinary.

I think I like being able to be something other than myself, to live beyond me and the limitations that I have in the mundane world. I have been a flower child, a VERY Christian West Texan teen, a Shrew, a Pennsylvanian sister, a dancing Mrs. Potato Head, a Diva, and much much more.
