Way to go!! 2.5 miles is a good accomplishment and a 10 mile pace is just fine. I have reached a point where I no longer worry about single digit times per mile. Of course I was only there during my time in the military. I do not plan on doing racing, so I figure as long as we make it to the end, its all good, right?

Keep it up and don't let the soreness get to you, run it out.

From what I have read in your journal and all the things you juggle, this is but a minor challenge. Problem with running (jogging) is if you don't keep up with it, ya lose it VERY quick. I had worked myself up to near 5 miles in a stint...took time off, was lazy and lost near most of it. And for me, having a bit of girth, I need to get in all the running (jogging) I can. LOL
