Done reading it. When I like a book, I am a voracious reader. I think I might like it more than Davinci Code, though I do like that one too and it resonates more for me. I liked this, I want the illustrated version of this one too...to see the sculpture and the churches he is referring to, the maps of Rome. That would be cool

I was talking to a friend today and we were saying how much we enjoy when a book, movie, or TV show really makes us think and look into history, do research to understand it more. These books do that, Carnivale does that.

I like symbology and the like...it's cool

I am extremely interested in the Knights Templar, having my interest peaked because of the Sierra game "Gabriel Knight III". It deals with the sybolism of the Holy Grail and the links to the Templars. I've gotten books about the mythology behind it and tend to snatch up any movie that I see dealing with the issue.

I'd highly recommend both the movies "The Order" and "Revelation" if you're interested in the symbolism behind the mythology. Both really make you think and rethink your opinions.

did you hear the news about Pope John Paul II being taken to the hospital? isn't that just eerie after reading Angels and Demons? i'm interested to see what happens in the coming months. i'm not Catholic, but i do hope he pulls through. i don't wish ill on anyone. but even if he does, he won't be around forever. i wonder what will happen?

the ultra-surreal part of all of this is that i was watching it on Fox News while i was working out at the gym. i embarassed myself by giggling out loud. not over the event itself, but over the "live" shots of the Vatican. i couldn't help but analyae the feed to see if it was REALLY live or just stock footage and bluescreen. *lol*

i just hope no one thought i was laughing about the Pope.
