Angels and Demons...check
Feb. 1st, 2005 08:41 pmDone reading it. When I like a book, I am a voracious reader. I think I might like it more than Davinci Code, though I do like that one too and it resonates more for me. I liked this, I want the illustrated version of this one too...to see the sculpture and the churches he is referring to, the maps of Rome. That would be cool
I was talking to a friend today and we were saying how much we enjoy when a book, movie, or TV show really makes us think and look into history, do research to understand it more. These books do that, Carnivale does that.
I like symbology and the like...it's cool

Date: 2005-02-02 02:59 pm (UTC)the ultra-surreal part of all of this is that i was watching it on Fox News while i was working out at the gym. i embarassed myself by giggling out loud. not over the event itself, but over the "live" shots of the Vatican. i couldn't help but analyae the feed to see if it was REALLY live or just stock footage and bluescreen. *lol*
i just hope no one thought i was laughing about the Pope.
