Observation from my parents

My parents came to stay with me on Sat. eve and went to faire on Sunday. Saturday night they told me how I was looking better than I had in a while.
I sat briefly with them and had lunch on Sunday (steak on a stake time) and my dad commented to me that I seem my happiest when I am at faire. That I light up and seem so comfortable. As if it was my natural habitat.
I wanted to tell them, "this is home for me", but somehow it didn't seem appropriate. I am comfortable at my childhood home, such wonderful memories, but faire is where I feel complete.
"I love my job..." It's not just a tag line, it's the truth.
