thoughts for last weekend
Oct. 20th, 2005 12:12 pmI want to hear Leave her Johnny again. I haven't heard it all year. Seamus sang it this week and it made me all misty to hear it at Pub Sing...
I don't want to freeze this weekend, and that doesn't look good either, blast it. Dress warm kiddies, dry and warm is the word of the weekend.
Weather will make those last days very interesting. Let's see if I can even DO the Stupina show. I hope the stage is dry enough Saturday. I can risk it some on Sunday, but Sat gets iffier. I see laundry in my future on Saturday night.
Sat:
Breezy and cool with occasional rain. Winds from the ENE at 12 mph.
High: 56° F RealFeel: 50° F
Sun:
Cloudy spells and breezy with a shower possible. Winds from the W at 14 mph.
High: 60° F RealFeel: 54° F
Hey mountain lady, they have brought the cold wet in for you so you don't overheat. thanks...Just thrilled about that one.
I feel worse for the boothies. Often, they can't get out and move, so they get colder than most, ESPECIALLY the people on Kenwood, the Boardwalk, and Stubtoe...the shady spots.
I wonder how many shows won't get to get done because of the weather. I so hope it doesn't hit us.
I can't wait for chocolate...dark kron truffles...does anyone have felaf.'s contact info, I am paranoid and want to make sure she hasn't forgotten. I promised "Trampellina" that I will get my first, and probably only alcohol from her/him on closing day. I don't have to drive, and I don't drink heavily, so one will most likely last me that final hour, especially if I am distracted by chocolate.
This is the last weekend we know for sure we get to do any of the shows. I want to play, I want to have fun, I want to fall in love with Shep one more day...le sigh.
