yes, there are story adjustments, but these didn't offend me.
almost didn't recognize Ralph Fiennes, but I already knew who he was playing.

Arguably the best so far in overall movie composition.

This one looks SO good just based on the trailors. I can't wait to see it. This was an exciting book.

Will probably be at least next week before we go - Gerry hates to go when it's opening weekend crowded.

But I only found out that Ralph Fiennes was in the movie last night (and who he was playing). That should be interesting.

I read he was in it a while ago. I was amused when he said something about thinking his part would be minor and he might not even be in the later books ...um, DUH, can you tell he didn't read the damn things.

And it is interesting. I was fascinated by his make up job.

I just did a search in google to find an image of him in make-up. Not bad.

we are probably waiting two weekends. this weekend will be crowded for opening weekend, next weekend will be crowded with thanksgiving crowds and shoppers and people who dumped their kids off at the movies!

Much as I want to go next weekend - we probably will also wait. Since we are visiting the in-laws we probably won't have time to go (I'd much rather be at the movies than with the inlaws) - plus you are right about the Tgiving crowds.

Not necessarily. Here in Georgetown, all five midnight shows were sold out, and people were lining up at 10:00 p.m.

But I saw it, and I loved it. I think Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) deserves an award for "most improved" actor. The visuals were spectacular -- I don't think I've ever seen more realistic CGI. I could go on and on, but probably not without spoilers!
