You see a long line of people waiting for the privies. Normally, it's because they are just waiting for a person to come out, not looking for any open ones. Performers, or anyone who works there who has time, steps into the bank of privies, and moves the line forward by letting the patrons waiting know where each open privy is. Most people just stand there and bog the line down. By doing this, we move the line forward very quickly, and, often, remove the line entirely. If you can say "you, go into that one" "you, take the 3rd one down" etc, they are grateful because the back up goes away and they can utilize the privy so much faster. First day, a guy tipped me, I tried to tell him no, but he wouldn't take it back. Second day, a lady tried, but I said not to worry. People are REALLY grateful when you are so conscious of getting them relief.
