home...finally

Went to a party, took directions from mapquest to get there. took 40 min
came home using hosts previous directions, took 1:45 min (with much turning around)

suffice to say, I am exhausted and didn't make my other engagement.

must sleep. So much happening.

how appropriate

So I went to a party that had a white elephant gift exchange. I went to the same event last year and was the last person to choose. I ended up with a bottle of vanilla Belvedere vodka and a martini glass (which knocked against something and promptly broke a week later). This year, with much planning and finagling with friends I ended up with a bottle of Chocolate Vodka. Seems appropriate....Next year, I still don't want the vodka with the scorpion in it.

Nice to have a pleasant afternoon with friends.
