As time passes, memories begin to fade, so before I forget too much, here is the weekend in review…well, my perspective on it. There were a hell of a lot of people there. All the standard rules apply. Read more... )
ptpgrad: (Shrew)
Rehearsal today was much better, for me at least. Although wearing a corset over a tshirt and bra hurts a lot (armpits gang), I am very pleased with how all the acro went. I am, pardon the term, mounting the boys properly and, though I still don't like it, I am sticking the two high better. And no hitting the back wall of the globe ceiling. Yeesh. Not doing that again.

We have two more sets of rehearsal next week and them perform it on Sat and Sunday of Shakespeare weekend. Luckily, family is visiting both days, so that gives me a reason to be top notch both days. Shrew has always been a family favorite and there is this version that was done in Canada with Len Cariou I would do alot for (not kill, but maybe maim). Best version I ever saw. I would love to get the San Fran Commedia version too, cause it was fun.

Next year we are thinking of branching out, but who knows.

I am just glad it is going well and I feel safe in the moves...and no bruises...this week.

My neck is real stiff though. Will work on fixing that...oh and on taking a shower, cause I reek.
