Things I had to relearn

If you put a bottle of wine in the freezer, don't forget it for 24 hours...it pushes out the cork, mostly removes the wrapping over the cork and can cause damage, unless you are lucky.

I should have remembered this based on the champagne that exploded up to my ceiling in 1995. High pressure ice slushie with booze...tasty, just not very safe...

Defrosted pinot grigio tonight...I owe you another bottle of something renfestgeek...sigh

This weekend's flicks watched:
Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Liked it. Fun. She is gorgeous, no matter what people say.

Batman Begins. Liked it. Clever stuff, answered alot. Dr. Crane has an oddly plastic looking face and scares me...and that is without drugs. Mr. Bale is gorgeous. Michael Caine was wonderful.

Madagascar. Penguins, Ani...need I say more? It was ok, nothing amazing, but I wasn't miserable. I had ended up eating something with a little bit of flour and was falling asleep at the beginning. I almost just closed my eyes in the theater. Didn't worry about fighting too much, so you can tell it was only average.
