That TV meme...
1. list 10 favorite TV shows that you have or currently watch
2. People guess who was your favorite character
3. When they get it right, explain why you like that character...yes?

I was typing that from memory... of course, some of these shows are from my youth...

Still to get:

1. Soap (this isn't gotten yet guys...)
4. Queer as Folk
5. Carnivale
6. Kids from CAPER

2. Cheers (Lilith is correct...I keep seeming to go for the insanely intelligent who are funny when the walls break...actually, my clown - who I hate - is an evil version of her)
3. The Muppet Show (Crazy Harry and Beeker...Crazy Harry just, well he was funny, he blew stuff up. And Beeker reminds me of a silent clown.)
7. Fraiser (Niles is correct - I love David Hyde Pierces goofy charm and when the stiffness breaks. Wonderful clown.)
8. Barney Miller (Dietrich is correct...technically, so is Nick Yamana. Dietrich had the weird intellectual info. Reminded me of my brother. Never looked right as a woman though. Hee. Nick...well the show tunes in the hash brownie episode was my fav.)
9. The Love Boat (Gopher is correct...I had such a crush on that character. Again, the goofy charm that meant so well.)
10. Sex and the City (Samantha is correct...I love her practical sensual/sexual nature and her confidence. When her heart finally shows, she loves as deeply as any of the others, it's just hidden)

So if a child is very ill and the family doesn't have money to take them to Disneyland/World, is it wrong/demeaning to start a charity to allow them to go to a place of whimsey and joy to allow for their healing? I can't see how that would be demeaning.

Perspective, an interesting thing.
