Ok, back from the wars of the Fishpaws liquor/wine store. Everything at least 750 ml was only $1 over their cost.
When I walked out the doors, I had with me:
1 gallon Cab (for mulling)
1 gallon Burgundy (for Mulling)
1 1/2 gallon port (for mulling)
One bottle of each of the following:
Bombay sapphire gin
10 year old Macallan
creme de cacao (light)
ketel one citron
Large tequila (Jose)
Large smirnoff vodka (for a friend)
2 willamette valley pinot noirs
1 Gewrtztraminer (bright and citrussy, not over sweet)
1 "ball buster" shiraz blend
1 lightly sweet german riesling
1 Italian blend (chianti like)
1 Cline Red Truck
2 Merlot (bonterra and Chateau Souverain)
1 Sauvignon Blanc
1 pinot grigio
and one box of liquor filled chocolates for a gift.
26 bottles, one box of chocolates. The damage, $391.33....savings...$116.51.
It's like going on a 20% off sale...or better.
The biggest discount on one item was $14.00, the smallest, $.34. All in all, a profitable day...
Now, my stove arrives in the next 3 hours...cooking my last meal on the old stove, and then, pack it all up and away.
Goodbye nice stove, I will miss you.
Oh, and the sale goes on through Thursday night.
